Policy

We collect only what is necessary to provide you with a functioning, personalized service.

• Account information — your email address and a hashed password when you register.
• Subscription data — your plan tier and billing status, processed through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or payment details on our servers.
• Usage data — pages visited, features accessed, and general interaction patterns, used to improve the platform and diagnose issues. This is collected with Google Analytics (see Sections 05 and 08).
• Sign-in records — the time of your last sign-in, a count of sign-ins, and the IP address used at your last sign-in, kept for account security.
• Device and log data — your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, which our hosting provider processes to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Visitors without an account — some pages, such as the AI Day Trader, offer a limited amount of free viewing. To apply those limits we store a cookie containing a random ID and a shortened one-way hash of your IP address, along with how many sessions you have used. We do not store the IP address itself for this purpose, and this record is not linked to your name or email.
• Communication — any messages you send to support or feedback channels.
• Push subscriptions (optional) — when you enable push notifications on the AI Pro plan, your browser provides a push endpoint and encryption keys that allow us to send you trade alerts. These contain no personally identifiable information and can be revoked at any time.

If you enable push notifications on the AI Pro plan, your browser registers a push subscription with us. We do not collect your name, physical address, or any financial account information beyond what Stripe requires to process a subscription.

Your information is used exclusively to:

• Create and maintain your StreetAlpha account
• Deliver the features and dashboards you have subscribed to
• Communicate with you by email — see Section 03 for details
• Send trade alerts (push and email) if you have opted into the AI Pro alert service
• Respond to support inquiries
• Diagnose bugs and improve platform performance
• Understand, in aggregate, how the site is used
• Apply free usage limits and protect accounts and the site from abuse

We do not use your account data, such as your email address or trading activity, to build advertising profiles or to target you with third-party offers. Analytics are used only to understand and improve StreetAlpha. Visitors who are not signed in, and free-plan members, may see ads served by Google; see Sections 05 and 08.

StreetAlpha sends email to your registered address for the following purposes:

• Transactional emails — account verification, password reset, security notices, and other communications required to operate your account. These are not optional. If you do not wish to receive them, you must close your account.
• Subscription receipts and billing notices — sent automatically when you subscribe, change plans, are charged, fail a payment, or cancel. Some of these are sent directly by Stripe under their own privacy policy.
• Trade alerts — sent only to AI Pro subscribers who have explicitly enabled email alerts for one or more AI Auto Pilot personas in their account settings. You can disable these at any time by toggling the email switches on the Alert Preferences section of your account.
• Service updates — occasional emails about meaningful platform changes, new features, planned downtime, or material updates to these terms or our Privacy Policy. Sent infrequently.

We do not send promotional or marketing emails for third-party products. All email originates from [email protected] or [email protected]. Email delivery is provided by Resend on our behalf under a standard commercial agreement.

This is an unconditional commitment, not subject to carve-outs or future policy changes without explicit notice.

StreetAlpha uses a small number of service providers to operate the platform. Each one handles only the data needed for its job, as described below.

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and DDoS protection. Traffic may pass through Cloudflare's edge network.
• Anthropic — AI model inference powering the AI Auto Pilot portfolios, the AI Day Trader, and AI-generated articles and summaries. These requests contain market data only. We do not send your account information to Anthropic. Queries are processed per Anthropic's data handling policies and are not used to train their models under our commercial agreement.
• Google Analytics — measures how the site is used, such as which pages are visited. It sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, device and browser details, and page activity. It does not receive your email address or password. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Google AdSense — shows ads to visitors who are not signed in and to free-plan members. Paid members do not see ads. Google and its advertising partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to StreetAlpha and other websites, and receive your IP address, device and browser details, and the page you are viewing. They do not receive your email address, password or account details. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's My Ad Center, and opt out of personalized ads from other participating vendors at aboutads.info.
• Resend — email delivery. Receives your email address and the content of the emails we send you.
• Font delivery (Google Fonts) — your browser downloads fonts directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and browser type as part of that request.
• Browser push services — when you enable push notifications, your alerts are delivered via your browser vendor's standard push service (e.g. Google FCM for Chrome, Mozilla autopush for Firefox, Apple Push Notification Service for Safari). Encrypted notification payloads pass through these services and can only be decrypted by your own device. We do not control these services and they operate under their own privacy policies.

Apart from the providers above, including the advertising partners Google works with as described under Google AdSense, no other third parties receive your personal information.

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as billing history).

Usage-limit records for visitors without an account are kept for up to 13 months. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings.

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare's platform with enterprise-grade security controls. Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

No system is perfectly secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately and change your password.

StreetAlpha uses cookies and similar browser storage for the following purposes:

• Sign-in — a session cookie keeps you logged in.
• Free usage limits — on pages with limited free viewing, a cookie holding a random ID lets us count sessions for visitors without an account. It lasts up to one year.
• Analytics — Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart and measure how the site is used.
• Advertising — Google and its advertising partners set cookies to show ads, including personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Ads are shown only to visitors who are not signed in and to free-plan members. You can turn off personalized ads in My Ad Center or at aboutads.info.
• Preferences — your browser's local storage remembers choices such as dismissing the cookie notice, and how recently a sign-up or upgrade prompt was shown, so we do not repeat them.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

A cookie notice is shown on your first visit. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block them, signing in will not work, and free usage limits may reset or apply sooner.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within 14 days.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

StreetAlpha is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. The effective date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.
